About the Food and Refreshment Team
The Food and Refreshment group is dedicated to delivering a consistent and exceptional experience for our guests. As a specialist in operations, process, and productivity, this team drives the success of our food and food services, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, sanitation, display, pricing, and promotional signage processes. As a Food Administration Group Leader, you'll be at the forefront of this effort, leading a team of hourly team members and driving sales, guest experience, and team success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sales goals, plan, and execute daily/weekly tasks to meet office and store sales objectives and guest engagement.
- Work a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs, including early mornings, evenings, short-term shifts, and weekends.
- Model guest service standards, ensuring a fresh and full area during all open hours, and developing team members who share product knowledge with guests.
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience, modeling, training, and coaching expectations to deliver the service standard.
- Review Food Administration back of house, production areas, dining spaces, and marketing spaces to ensure sanitation and proper inventory levels.
- Walk Food and Refreshment Guidelines and Food Administration schedules daily to assess needs and review reporting to identify business gaps for follow-up.
- Ensure proper execution on all food handling standards and cleaning schedules.
- Validate and provide feedback to team members' development against division schedules and schedules.
- Lead your team to maintain and uphold all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production specifications (where applicable).
- Foster a collaborative relationship with your Starbucks DM (if applicable), attend expected in-store planning and conferences, and follow up on key takeaways from their time in your store.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service industry.
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks autonomously.
- Welcoming and accommodating demeanor.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
