Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support business intelligence and data science initiatives
- Gather data requirements, create source-to-target mappings, and develop data validation scripts and reviews
- Create and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Design and implement database schema, tables, and views to support business needs
- Deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations, driving business insights and decision-making
- Utilize technologies such as SQL (Snowflake and PostgreSQL), Python, Docker, GitLab, and Airflow to develop and maintain data products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Product, and Technology stakeholders to drive project success
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance
- Proven expertise in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake
- Experience with developing in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS practices for code deployment/development
- Experience creating and maintaining automated job schedulers
- Strong understanding of relational database design and functionality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Proficiency in cloud architecture and product offerings, ideally AWS
- Experience managing and delivering code using a source control product like GitLab/GitHub
- Experience using Docker
