Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist - Remote – USA Remote Jobs

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist to provide remote mental health services to clients across the country. In this fully virtual role, you will deliver individual or group therapy sessions, conduct behavioral assessments, and create treatment plans tailored to each client's needs—all from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual therapy sessions using secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms
• Conduct behavioral health assessments and formulate personalized treatment goals
• Provide evidence-based therapy for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and other behavioral concerns
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly
• Ensure all therapy services meet ethical, legal, and clinical standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team when necessary
• Participate in virtual staff meetings, trainings, or supervision (as required)

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Active, unrestricted license in at least one U.S. state (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCPC, PsyD, PhD)
• Experience in behavioral or clinical mental health settings (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
• Strong skills in CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, or other evidence-based modalities
• Prior telehealth experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Reliable internet and a secure, distraction-free home workspace
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
