They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer who will perform mechanical design assignments for advanced facilities projects, specifically creating HVAC and Plumbing designs and coordinating with other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform mechanical design assignments with general technical guidance on complex projects
- Create HVAC and Plumbing designs for construction
- Gather existing HVAC and Plumbing conditions and during construction on project sites
- Coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and project management
Skills
- Associate Degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- At least 5 year of Revit design experience
- At least 10 years of AutoCAD design experience
- Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, or similar
- Knowledge of Revizto or NavisWorks
- Knowledge of load calculation softwares (Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, etc)
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
