The role involves reviewing financial documents and providing structured feedback to ensure accuracy and quality in personal finance artifacts.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving personal finance or consumer planning topics
- Review outputs for factual accuracy, practical relevance, financial reasoning quality, and domain rigor
- Assess materials involving budgeting, saving, debt planning, credit, retirement planning, insurance, household finance, consumer decision-making, or related topics
- Identify incomplete analysis, weak assumptions, unclear recommendations, or inaccurate financial guidance
- Review spreadsheets for structure, clarity, logic, calculations, and usability
- Assess slide decks for presentation quality, organization, visual clarity, and audience appropriateness
- Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files
- Evaluate whether documents and presentations meet professional-quality standards
- Evaluate work products against domain-specific quality rubrics
- Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining strengths, weaknesses, and improvement areas
- Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
- Support high-quality evaluation materials through precise, professional feedback
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in personal finance, consumer planning, financial planning, financial education, consumer advisory, wealth planning, or related fields
- Native or professional fluency in English
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
- Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
- Academic backgrounds in finance, economics, business, accounting, financial planning, consumer studies, public policy, or related fields may be relevant
- Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable
- Professional certifications or training in financial planning, consumer finance, financial education, or advisory work may also be relevant depending on project scope
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Experience creating or reviewing financial planning documents, consumer finance guides, educational materials, financial presentations, or spreadsheet-based planning tools
- Familiarity with CFP, AFC, ChFC, CFA, CPA, or comparable finance-related frameworks may be helpful depending on project scope
- Experience reviewing presentation decks for clarity, polish, and business-facing communication quality
- Strong ability to evaluate both financial substance and visual/presentation quality
