EmergenceTek Group Inc. is a national pharmacy benefits manager seeking a Project Manager to join their Enterprise Project Management Office. The role involves leading cross-functional project teams, managing projects from initiation through implementation, and ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams across IT and business units to achieve project goals within scope, time, and budget
- Build and maintain core project artifacts including project plans, budget forecasts, resource plans, communication plans, and business cases
- Report progress against plan to stakeholders on a regular cadence, analyze variances, and surface potential risks proactively with action plans to manage them
- Partner with business sponsors on project changes, including risk mitigation, solution alternatives, budget estimates, and vendor contract modifications
- Establish business cases for Senior Leadership evaluation, working with business leads on cost-benefit, technology, and integration analyses
- Serve as Agile Epic Owner and ensure the technical needs of each project are identified and executed
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, document action items and assignments, and drive them to timely completion
- Lead issue management through resolution and ensure solutions are adequately tested and documented
- Support change management by ensuring stakeholders are identified and receive the communication they need
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of healthcare-related experience
- Certification in project methodology or Agile (PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, Six Sigma, or similar), or ability to become certified within one year of hire
- 3+ years of experience managing enterprise projects with IT and data elements from initiation to implementation if project management certified; 5+ years if not certified
- 3+ years of healthcare or pharmacy benefits industry experience, including working knowledge of HIPAA
- Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience with project tracking tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, PPM Pro, or Smartsheet
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
