Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of construction from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring safety, quality, and budget performance while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of hyperscale data center construction from preconstruction through final turnover
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, procurement, risk, and client expectations
- Develop and maintain master schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms
- Coordinate execution with Superintendents, Project Engineers, MEP Managers, and trade partners
- Drive project milestones, critical path activities, and recovery plans when needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Facilitate weekly executive meetings, progress reporting, and risk reviews
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting to maintain profitability
- Oversee contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture across all project sites
- Partner with commissioning agents to ensure systems meet owner performance requirements prior to turnover
Skills
- 8+ years of construction project management experience, with direct experience on hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects
- Proven track record managing projects from preconstruction through commissioning/turnover
- Experience coordinating with MEP teams, commissioning agents, and multi-trade partners on large-scale builds
- History of managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships on projects of significant scale/complexity
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and critical facility requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites throughout the U.S
