AC Lion Digital Executive Search is representing a growing marketing technology and data consultancy seeking a Martech & Data Consultant. The role focuses on helping clients unlock the value of their customer and marketing data while driving the firm's growth, requiring a proactive and client-centric approach.
Responsibilities
- Partner with client stakeholders in marketing, product, analytics, and engineering to understand business goals and translate them into martech and data use cases
- Assess and help design clients' martech and customer data stacks (e.g., CDP, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, adtech, and data pipelines), identifying gaps and opportunities
- Work with client data sources (first-party data, customer events, campaign performance) to develop insights and recommendations that improve targeting, personalization, and measurement
- Define and help implement activation strategies across channels (email, onsite, paid media, in-product messaging), including segmentation, journeys, and experimentation
- Collaborate closely with technical teams (developers, data engineers, marketing ops) to ensure integrations, data flows, and configurations align with business requirements
- Build clear documentation, presentations, and enablement materials so client teams can use their martech and data capabilities confidently day-to-day
- Model high responsiveness, ownership, and professionalism in all client and internal interactions, reinforcing the firm's 'we care more' service standard
Skills
- 3-7 years of experience in martech, marketing operations, data/analytics consulting, or a closely related marketing technology role
- Hands-on experience with key martech and data tools (e.g., CDP, CRM, marketing automation, tagging/analytics, or customer data platforms), with the ability to learn new stacks quickly
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data to generate insights, build segments, and inform activation strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of collaborating across marketing, product, and technical teams
- High degree of self-motivation, ownership, and responsiveness; you operate with a contractor-like mindset and avoid complacency
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, data/analytics, information systems, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is valued
