Career Soft Solutions Inc is seeking highly skilled and certified Epic Application Analysts to support a premier healthcare client on a major, long-term system optimization and support initiative. The role involves the build, configuration, testing, and implementation of specific Epic modules, requiring analytical thinking and effective collaboration with cross-functional healthcare IT teams.
Responsibilities
- System Build & Configuration: Design, build, test, and maintain the Epic application environment according to client specifications and operational workflows
- Workflow Optimization: Analyze existing clinical or financial workflows and provide recommendations for system enhancements, upgrades, and overall performance improvements
- Testing & Validation: Conduct thoroughly documented unit, regression, and integrated testing for system upgrades, Nova notes, and custom build components
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level tier 2/3 troubleshooting and support for complex system issues, tickets, and user requests
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams and operational stakeholders (clinicians, billing managers, or executives) to gather requirements and translate them into technical build
Skills
- Must hold a current, active Epic Certification in one or more of the specific modules listed
- Must be fully up to date on all New Version Training (NVT)
- Minimum of 3–5+ years of hands-on Epic build and implementation experience within a U.S.-based health system or hospital environment
- Strong understanding of Epic Chronicles, database structures, and system security frameworks
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Experience working through major Epic version upgrades or double-upgrade cycles
- Prior experience in a 100% remote consulting or contracting capacity with a track record of meeting strict deliverables
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead meetings with clinical or financial leadership
