Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Advanced Innovation group, where you will play a key role in planning, creating, and maintaining large-scale technology solutions that are infused with creative designs, data analysis, and digital solutions. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will provide numerical modeling and analysis services to support critical financial, operational, and strategic planning decisions, and participate in supporting project teams in value-added activities that generate practical solutions to complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement statistical models and analytical methods to solve complex business problems and drive business growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Design and develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast business outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and develop insights that inform business decisions
- Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational foundation in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science. A postgraduate degree (PhD or ABD) is required, and coursework or work experience in statistics, forecasting, or machine learning is highly desirable. You should also have experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, R, Python, or other structured programming languages, and be proficient in MS Office.
