About the position
Responsibilities
• Support the build and re-design of a forecast process to reduce reliance on manual interventions and cross-team dependencies.
• Enable ad-hoc forecasting capability for customers/consumers.
• Enhance forecast reporting to support capital planning decisions.
• Ensure solutions meet model governance standards and best practices.
• Implement solutions in an end-to-end architecture using the Eureka! platform.
• Design and develop data transformation processes, workflow automation, post-model calculations, and results analysis tools using Python.
• Evaluate and recommend actuarial methodology, simplifications, and approximations.
• Develop within a CI/CD framework to ensure scalability and future changes.
• Coordinate frequent releases to enable value delivery.
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to implement scalable architecture.
• Test end-to-end capabilities to ensure coverage of internal reporting needs, including sensitivity and attribution runs.
• Extend the platform to cover new use-cases and capabilities.
• Identify business needs, propose solutions, and define execution plans.
• Document solutions transparently.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• ASA or higher actuarial credentials
• 3+ years of experience in actuarial work (valuation, forecasting, capital management)
• 3+ years of experience with actuarial regulatory frameworks (US Statutory, US GAAP, Bermuda)
• Experience with software engineering or constructing/evaluating actuarial models
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and eagerness to partner with stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
• Understanding of asset and liability management processes and models
• Knowledge of US insurance financial reporting and regulatory framework
• Open to remote/virtual location.
