Seeking a highly organized 1099 Virtual Assistant to support our Federal Government Healthcare staffing operations. This role is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who can manage high‑volume communication, assist with recruiting tasks, and prepare credentialing packets for federal healthcare providers.
Scope of Work
Email Management — Monitor and organize multiple inboxes, flag urgent items, and maintain timely communication with candidates and internal teams.
Recruiting Assistance — Support sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for federal healthcare roles (Physicians, Nurses, Allied Health, Admin).
Credentialing Packet Assembly — Prepare complete credentialing packets including licenses, certifications, immunizations, resumes, and government forms.
Security Clearance Documentation — Collect and organize identification and forms required for DHA, DoD, and federal background checks.
Document Tracking — Maintain spreadsheets and trackers to ensure timely submission of all required documents.
Scheduling & Coordination — Arrange interviews, follow‑ups, and onboarding steps.
Compliance Support — Ensure all documentation meets federal, contract, and HIPAA standards.
Contractor Requirements
Experience supporting federal healthcare recruiting or credentialing strongly preferred
Familiarity with DHA, DoD, or federal onboarding requirements
Strong written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF editing, and cloud‑based document tools
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Must provide own equipment and workspace
