Key Responsibilities
- Leadership in Tax Compliance: Review and approve tax returns prepared by staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Complex Return Preparation: Independently prepare and file intricate corporate, partnership, S‑corporation, and high‑net‑worth individual returns, as well as specialized trust and amended returns.
- Technical Research & Judgment: Conduct supervised technical research on challenging tax issues, formulate alternative solutions, and document findings for internal and client use.
- Audit & Notice Response: Lead the response to IRS and state tax notices, coordinate with tax staff to draft thorough and technically sound replies.
- Review & Supervision: Evaluate tax working papers, letters, and supporting documentation drafted by junior staff, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to firm standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned engagements, nurturing relationships through regular business meetings, strategic discussions, and social engagements.

Essential Qualifications
