Key Responsibilities
- Review tax returns and assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including scheduling, staffing, and technical issues.
- Manage, supervise, and mentor Staff and Senior Accountants, guiding them through technical challenges and promoting professional development.
- Complete annual performance evaluations and manage ongoing employee performance.
- Collaborate with partners to identify and pursue new clients, driving business growth and expansion.
- Promote the firm's growth and well-being through recruiting, publishing, and training initiatives.
- Foster strong client relationships through exceptional service, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and enhance knowledge and skills through training and continuous learning.
- Take on additional duties and assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the firm's success.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid CPA license.
- Several years of tax experience, including recent experience at the manager level.
- Full-time availability and a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to set and work towards goals, objectives, and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with a range of tax areas, including individual, partnerships, C-Corps, S-Corps, estate, trust, SALT, gift, HNW, and non-profits.
