About the Role Our client, a leading provider of supply chain solutions, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Logistics Coordinator for their major hub in Atlanta, Georgia . This role is integral to the seamless flow of goods across a complex distribution network. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing warehouse activities, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to various destinations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, including scheduling shipments and managing carriers. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock movements between distribution centers and client locations. Track shipments in real-time and proactively address any delays or disruptions to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation partners to resolve logistical issues. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs procedures, and company policies. Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and service improvements. Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, costs, and inventory accuracy. Assist in the development and implementation of new logistics strategies and technologies. Provide support and training to junior logistics staff as needed. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or warehouse management. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a demanding environment. Strong understanding of shipping procedures, carrier management, and freight documentation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with DOT regulations and international shipping practices is a plus.
