About the position Carrier Residential Solutions HVAC Finance, located in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a qualified candidate for a FP&A Analyst.to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and investment analysis for Residential Product-Line Sales and Margin and Residential SG&A. The candidate will provide insightful analysis and projections and interact cross functionally with Finance, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, OPS, and SIOP Teams to enable operation excellence. This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week Responsibilities • Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans. • Full P&L responsibility for Residential Product line • Develops analysis on budgets, forecasts, inventory, and / or sales margins. • Prepare / consolidate / support interim & monthly reports • Prepare and provide insights for Finished Goods Excess and Obsolete Inventory • Manage, develop, monitor Residential SG&A cost centers forecast/plan preparation, reporting and analysis • Provides interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports • Continuous improvement of processes, tools, and reporting efficiencies • Special projects and ad hoc business/financial analysis Requirements • Bachelor's Degree • 5 + years of experience in FP&A Nice-to-haves • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • Working knowledge of US GAAP, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting/forecasting processes. • Proven track record with financial process/reporting improvement and simplification • Ability to develop and apply complex financial models involving large data sets • Strong financial/cost analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills. • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. • Self-direction and organization skills critical to achieving month-end reporting deadlines. • Excellent time management and adaptability • Detail oriented • Self-motivated • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and superior follow-through skills • Ability to manage competing and changing priorities with composure and professionalism Benefits • Health Care Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision • Wellness incentives • Retirement Benefits • Paid vacation days, up to 15 days • paid sick days, up to 5 days • paid personal leave, up to 5 days • paid holidays, up to 13 days • birth and adoption leave • parental leave • family and medical leave • bereavement leave • jury duty leave • military leave • purchased vacation • Short-term and long-term disability • Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment • Health Savings Account • Health Care Spending Account • Dependent Care Spending Account • Tuition Assistance Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
