Key Responsibilities
- Research deals, products, and trends to provide high-quality recommendations to our readers, ensuring timely and engaging updates on the latest deals and trends during the evening shift (2pm – 10pm MT).
- Analyze performance and iterate constantly to optimize post-execution, leveraging data-driven insights to inform content strategy.
- Connect, support, and learn from the team remotely via Slack and Zoom meetings, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Stay current with and monitor social media (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) for commerce opportunities, identifying emerging trends and areas for growth.
- Craft and edit deal content that is clear, concise, and compelling, adhering to KCL's formatting and style guidelines.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a relevant field, such as journalism, communications, or marketing.
- 2+ years of writing experience in a high-volume environment, with a background in commerce, creating content for an online publication.
- Proven experience in writing, editing, and self-publishing clean, clear, concise content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with ease.
