Senior Analyst, Finance & M&A A private equity-backed consumer services organization is seeking its first dedicated FP&A resource to partner directly with the CFO. As the company continues to scale through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, this individual will play a key role in building the financial planning and analysis function, developing reporting and forecasting capabilities, supporting M&A activity, and providing the insights needed to drive informed business decisions. This is a unique opportunity to help build the company's financial planning and reporting infrastructure in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in developing financial reporting, forecasting, and analytics while supporting the organization's M&A pipeline and acquisition activity. This role offers significant visibility, meaningful ownership, and the opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly expanding platform. Office Environment: Remote with travel for acquisition diligence and integration Key Responsibilities • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership, board presentations, lenders, and operational performance reviews. • Assist with the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and variance analysis by connecting financial outcomes with operational performance. • Manage and maintain the acquisition pipeline by tracking opportunities, updating financial models, and supporting transaction prioritization. • Contribute to merger and acquisition activities, including financial due diligence, valuation modeling, integration tracking, and post-acquisition reporting. • Design, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards and financial reporting tools that deliver meaningful business insights to leadership. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes, improve data integrity, and enhance financial systems and analytics capabilities. • Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources to develop scalable, reliable, and actionable reports. • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support strategic initiatives for the CFO and senior leadership team. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • 2–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, transaction advisory, or a highly analytical finance role. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis. • * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and communicate insights effectively. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting information to senior stakeholders. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in a private equity-backed, multi-location, or acquisition-focused organization. • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, or post-acquisition integration activities. • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Power BI, SQL, or Power Query. • Progress toward or completion of a professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or a similar credential. • Experience supporting consumer services, multi-site operations, or other service-based businesses is an asset.
