Senior Accountant / Transaction Advisory Consultant – Contract Opportunity (Remote) Our client is a leading professional services organization providing tax, audit, accounting, advisory, and wealth management services. They are seeking a Senior Transaction Advisory professional for an open-ended contract engagement to support their growing advisory practice. This is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to work with a team of experienced professionals on complex transaction advisory engagements. Overview As a Senior Consultant within the Transaction Advisory team, you will work alongside experienced professionals to help clients analyze and navigate complex financial and operational matters. You will oversee day-to-day project activities, support client engagements from planning through completion, and contribute to a variety of advisory projects including transaction advisory services, process improvement, internal controls assessment, testing, and management consulting. PAY is based on experience/market Please apply and I can call you to talk Key Responsibilities • Perform financial and operational analysis related to buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements. • Support and manage transaction advisory engagements for investment banks, private equity firms, and corporate buyers. • Analyze historical financial statements, assess operational trends, and identify key business drivers. • Prepare and oversee Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses, databooks, proof of cash exercises, and management interview processes. • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, managers, and partners to ensure engagement timelines and deliverables are met. • Prepare clear, concise written reports communicating findings and recommendations. • Assist with training and mentoring junior team members. • Support process improvement initiatives, internal control assessments, and other advisory projects as needed. Qualifications • 2+ years of public accounting experience in Quality of Earnings, Transaction Advisory Services, or Financial Due Diligence. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment. • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. • Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet client deadlines. • Some travel may be required depending on client engagement needs. • CPA license is preferred.
