Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Seasonal Staffing Administrator to join our Amazon Hiring Team. As a key member of our Labor Force Staffing Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our high-volume recruiting and staffing efforts for various locations. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute recruiting events, ensuring a seamless candidate experience
- Assist candidates in navigating the hiring process, including application completion, background checks, and onboarding
- Conduct interviews to determine the best fit for candidates and available opportunities
- Utilize the Candidate Tracking system to manage candidate workflows and ensure timely follow-up
- Meet critical deadlines for background screening, drug testing, and employment verification
- Collaborate with Hiring Coordinators to conduct routine audits and analyze metrics
- Participate in candidate engagement activities, such as attending job fairs and community events
- Resolve candidate issues and remove barriers to hiring
- Maintain accurate records and ensure 100% compliance with employment laws and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 6+ months of experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn multiple platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and travel up to 75% locally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of administrative tasks, such as data entry and report management
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ year of experience in a high-volume, customer-focused environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with ability to create pivot tables and mail merges
- Experience with Candidate Tracking systems or other tracking and reporting systems
