Responsibilities π€
- Sell
- Collaborate on Mutt's ongoing sales opportunities and leads. Respond to client RFP and service requests, sharing our value proposition and drive processes - several per month.
- Help review and provide feedback for Muttβs marketing communications pieces and presentations - once per month
- Participate in networking activities such as marketing events, workshops and conferences - a few per Q.
- Research and track information on possible leads, market opportunities and sales tactics from similar companies or competitors - every week.
- Process
- Pipeline - Use a set of tools, frameworks, processes, and methodologies to track the saleβs pipeline progress in our CRM - on a biweekly basis.
- Proposals - Create initial drafts or send consulting work proposals and iterate client contracts with the legal team - every month.
- Track - Keep engagement status and oversight info updated. Add information on current status and obstacles - every week.
- Account Management
- Build relationships with current clients and drive them to become Mutt's champions - every week.
- Help track project economics with planning and budgeting activities. Propose ideas to increase buy-in of proposed solutions from the clientβs stakeholders - every month.
- Identify new tracks or staffing opportunities for current accounts, based on Muttβs offerings - once per Q.
- Other Teams' Support
- COO and Ops Leadership with relevant information and analysis for relevant decision-making on staffing and presentations.
- Tech Leaders/Project Managers in account expectations, pain points, possible farming opportunities, and client satisfaction surveys.
Required Skills π»
- University degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related bachelor's level.
- Experience in guiding clients and leads through business initiatives, and in resolving difficult client situations.
- Experience in scoping and developing proposals for consulting work.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales pipelines (software outsourcing companies are a plus)
- 5+ years of direct consulting experience.
- 1+ years of management experience; Manage a small team of highly-skilled and ambitious individuals. Act as an example to your peers, with proactive and open suggestions on the team's needs.
- Basic oral and written communication skills in English.
- Intermediate++ skills in opportunity qualification and contract negotiation.
- Experience working with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc) or similar (i.e Office Package)
- Comfortable working with open communication tools such as Slack and ClickUp.
- Evidence of growing new/existing client base from the ground up.
- Comfortable with autonomy, prioritizing tasks, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Rises to challenges and/or unfamiliar tasks with enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of at least 1 CRM system, customer service, or marketing tools (Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, etc.)
- Experience in sales methodologies (BANT, TAS, SPIN, etc.)
