We're currently seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Operating Room to join our team on a travel assignment in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch patient care and supporting our surgical team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, working closely with our surgical team to ensure seamless and efficient care
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and medication administration
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in patient care, adhering to established policies and procedures
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or eligible for licensure
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- National and state certification in Operating Room nursing (e.g., CNOR)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and schedules
