POSITION SUMMARY The Research and Quality Assistant is responsible for supporting core research and quality activities, including chart abstraction; validation of clinical data from electronic health records (EHRs) and other medical records to support cardiovascular clinical research studies, quality improvement initiatives, outcomes research, registry participation, and performance measurement programs; preparation of literature reviews; development of research and quality improvement projects; and preparation of abstracts and manuscripts.

Qualifications Required

Qualifications Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or other clinical background.
• Experience reviewing cardiovascular patient records.
• Experience working in cardiology, cardiovascular imaging, or cardiovascular research environments.
