About Wasef Health
• Wasef Health is a rapidly growing, physician-led telemedicine provider group supporting multiple high-volume digital health partners across the United States.
• We provide care across non-emergency telehealth service lines including weight management, wellness, sexual health, hormone-related care, and other protocol-driven virtual care services.
• We are hiring reliable, multi-state licensed nurse practitioners who want consistent remote telemedicine work with a structured workflow, strong clinical support, and flexible scheduling.
The Role
• This role includes a combination of scheduled phone visits and asynchronous consults.
• Patients are scheduled into 10-minute phone visit slots, though many visits are completed faster. Between scheduled phone visits, providers work from an open queue of asynchronous consults. If a patient no-shows, providers are still compensated according to the no-show policy and can continue completing async consults until the next scheduled visit.
• This model is built to reduce wasted time, avoid chasing patients, and create a more predictable remote workflow.
Responsibilities
• Review asynchronous patient consults and determine treatment eligibility based on Wasef Health clinical protocols
• Complete scheduled phone visits during committed availability blocks
• Prescribe non-controlled medications when clinically appropriate and within scope
• Review patient intake forms, medical history, contraindications, and follow-up needs
• Document encounters clearly and accurately
• Respond to clinically relevant patient follow-up questions when needed
• Communicate with clinical support through Slack and internal systems
• Maintain reliable availability during scheduled sync blocks
• Follow Wasef Health clinical guidelines, escalation pathways, and compliance standards
Requirements
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with active, unrestricted licensure
• Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner background
• Independent practice authority required for current hiring needs
• Minimum of 10 active state licenses required
• Ability to commit to at least 10 hours/week of scheduled phone visit availability
• 20+ hours/week preferred
• Comfortable completing both scheduled phone visits and asynchronous chart reviews
• Comfortable prescribing non-controlled medications through protocol-based telemedicine workflows
• Reliable, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving remote environment
• Able to use Slack and web-based clinical platforms
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
• 25+ active state licenses
• Broad national licensure coverage
• Prior high-volume telemedicine experience
• Experience with weight management, GLP-1 medications, wellness, sexual health, or hormone-related care
• Strong efficiency with asynchronous chart review workflows
Compensation
• This is a per-consult compensation model. Effective hourly earnings depend on provider efficiency, visit mix, scheduled availability, active consult volume, and state licensure coverage.
• Scheduled phone visits are compensated at a higher rate than asynchronous consults. Patient no-shows are compensated at 50% of the scheduled visit rate, so provider time is still protected.
• No controlled substances are prescribed through this role.
