The role focuses on acquiring and expanding relationships with enterprise-level customers in the truck and vocational sector, leveraging industry expertise to enhance productivity and efficiency with Zonar's fleet technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new accounts within the truck and vocational sector
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across the transportation industry
- Manage and grow a pipeline of new business opportunities, driving deals from prospecting through close
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to align solutions with customer requirements
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new business development opportunities
- Proactively address customer concerns to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with enterprise customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the truck or vocational sector
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales and managing enterprise accounts
- Strong understanding of sales cycles, with experience selling complex solutions in transportation or logistics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel within assigned territories as needed (up to 75%)
- Valid driver's license and ability to rent passenger vehicles for travel
