Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive mechanical designs for data center projects using Basis of Design through to Issue For Construction documentation
- Manage all aspects of mechanical, fire suppression, and plumbing systems throughout the project lifecycle, resolving issues raised by stakeholders
- Define scopes of work for significant equipment procurements and update configurations as project needs evolve
- Collaborate with global teams, manufacturers, and engineering departments to deliver required mechanical solutions
- Ensure vendor quality control and successful product delivery that meets rigorous design and equipment standards
Skills
- Expertise in piping stress analysis and related software
- Proven experience with thermal and hydraulic modeling software
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical and building codes
- Experience in mission-critical facility mechanical infrastructure systems is essential for this role
