The Sr. Associate role focuses on supporting business development and partnership growth for financial institution credit card programs, managing relationships, and ensuring successful program execution.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and growth of financial institution credit card partnerships
- Assist in identifying, qualifying, and evaluating new partnership opportunities aligned with business objectives
- Participate in partner meetings, discovery discussions, and business development activities
- Develop presentations, proposals, financial analyses, and supporting materials for partnership opportunities
- Maintain sales pipeline information and CRM records to ensure accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting
- Support contract negotiation and implementation activities under the guidance of senior business development leaders
- Partner with Product, Risk, Marketing, and Operations to design and launch new card programs
- Develop business cases and prioritize product enhancements based on partner needs, market trends, and financial impact
- Maintain competitive insights and industry knowledge to inform product roadmaps and innovation
- Act as the central point of coordination between partners and internal teams to ensure seamless execution
- Support alignment on priorities, timelines, and performance goals to maximize partnership outcomes
- Represent the organization at industry events, partner meetings, and key relationship touchpoints
- Demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, and accountability across internal and external stakeholders
- Build a reputation as a trusted partner and subject matter expert in financial institution credit card programs
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in financial services industry, banking, credit cards or related
- Established network and reputation within the financial services industry
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
- Frequent travel
- Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
