Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rise8 builds custom, secure software for government organizations, and they are seeking a Growth Team SkillBridge Intern. The intern will dive into data-driven work, focusing on market research, lead generation, and supporting sales efforts to drive business expansion.
Responsibilities
- Assist with gathering intelligence on federal procurement opportunities (e.g., SAM.gov, GSA MAS) to identify potential leads and opportunities for Rise8
- Support the Growth Team in generating leads, qualifying prospects, and maintaining CRM data using tools like HubSpot
- Help with proposal management, contributing to content creation, document editing, and coordination with cross-functional teams
- Assist with organizing customer meetings, preparing presentations, and understanding client needs to tailor Rise8’s offerings
- Work closely with marketing to create content and marketing materials for client outreach, helping to drive inbound leads
- Contribute to strategies for business development, market outreach, and growth initiatives, including developing case studies and customer success stories
Skills
- Currently on active duty and eligible for SkillBridge
- A growth mindset with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to the team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Interest in business development, sales, and marketing with a focus on government contracts and procurement processes
- U.S. citizenship
- Entry-level experience or certifications in business development, marketing, or a related field
