They are seeking a Senior Public Relations Account Executive to manage key client relationships and execute data-driven PR strategies in the Consumer Packaged Goods vertical.
Responsibilities
- Strategic PR planning – Develop and implement PR strategies for CPG clients, using Press Hook’s platform capabilities and features to craft tailored stories
- Media relations – Build and nurture relationships with journalists, Substacks and podcasters; target relevant outlets with precision
- Client advisory – Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for brand clients; guide them on media trends, seasonal pitching and breaking through the competition
- Content creation – Draft and refine press releases, pitches and press kit materials; ensure accuracy, tone and brand alignment
- Analytics & reporting – Monitor media coverage and sample requests; use platform analytics to measure campaign performance and provide actionable insights to clients
- Cross‑team collaboration – Work with internal product, marketing and tech teams to relay client feedback and help improve AI tools and PR workflows
Skills
- 5+ years in PR/media relations with proven experience pitching CPG or lifestyle brands
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with AI tools and analytics platforms
- Demonstrated success managing client accounts and executing integrated PR campaigns
- Knowledge of current media trends, including influencer marketing, affiliate partnerships and emerging channels
- Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, journalism, marketing or a related field
- Self‑starter who thrives in a remote, fast‑paced startup environment; ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Advanced degrees/certifications in PR or digital marketing a plus
