They are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development and Insurance Telematics who will collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership and sales teams while building strong external partnerships to accelerate adoption and business impact.
Responsibilities
- Manages experienced professionals who exercise independent discretion and/or manages a functional area or process that may or may not have direct reports
- Implements policy and strategy for short-term results and influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures
- Decision making is guided by strategic objectives of specialization
- Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures
- Must be able to communicates with executive leadership
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 10+ years of direct or relevant working experience managing partners and selling software and services solutions through channels
- Telematics or Commercial Insurance Auto experience critical, ideal candidate will have experience with or deep knowledge of commercial insurance telematics programs
- Excellence in strategic planning, problem-solving, analytics, written and verbal communication to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
- High organizational skills and deadline management are a must
- Strong project management skills and ability to effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Self-starting and collaborative
- Experienced in working with cross-functional teams and across multiple locations
- Up to 20% travel
