The Senior Consultant will focus on the design, configuration, and delivery of Recruiting and Onboarding workstreams within full lifecycle HCM implementations, serving as a subject matter expert in Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving the design, configuration, and delivery of Recruiting and Onboarding workstreams within full lifecycle HCM implementations, including requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and post‑go‑live support
- This role serves as a functional subject matter expert in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) and Onboarding, including requisition and candidate management, job application flows, offer and hiring processes, onboarding journeys, and preboarding workflows
- The lead partners closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business stakeholders to translate hiring and onboarding strategies into scalable Oracle solutions aligned to best practices, while facilitating design workshops, supporting testing cycles, and resolving functional issues
- Additionally, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with Core HR, Talent, and Learning modules, supports reporting and analytics needs, and develops documentation and training materials, while mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-quality delivery of end‑to‑end candidate lifecycle and onboarding experience solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users
- 1-2 years of experience owning project workstreams with little to no supervision
- Ability to solve complex problems creatively with strong critical thinking
- Strong analytical skills coupled with a functional or technical acumen and hands-on expertise with cloud-based enterprise solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to work with client or other internal project teams
- Canadian citizenship is required for TN visa travel to the U.S. as needed
