Arrowhead Engineered Products is seeking a National Account Manager to oversee sales initiatives for Custom Plastics Strategic National Accounts. The role involves developing strategic sales plans, maintaining customer relationships, and preparing sales presentations while requiring approximately 70% travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, operating budget, financial and product analysis, and sales forecast/projections to achieve company objectives
- Track policy deployment goals and prepares root cause analysis
- Travel to meets with clients, maintains relationships, negotiates programs, prepares and delivers sales presentations at the branch, and corporate levels
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition
- Partner with the product department in product research and developing new products
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to prepare for strategic account reviews
- Plan and implement strategic account business reviews
- Field questions and resolves issues from customers
- Travel to trade association meetings, trade shows, customer open houses and other meetings assigned
- Travel: Job requires approximately 70% travel
- Responsible for following all safety standards and working safely and health consciously at all times
- Prepare quotes for customers, calculates quarterly and annual rebates if needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 5+ years managing OEM National Accounts with proven growth results
- Industry experience in plastics, thermoforming, packaging, or engineered components
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as, discounts, interest, commission and percentages
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Working knowledge of database software, order processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Travel required
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite a plus
- Experience with CRM
