ADM is a leader in microbial biotechnology and natural health solutions, and they are seeking a Sales Manager for the Pet & Animal Wellness (PAW) division. This role will focus on driving revenue growth and strengthening customer relationships across North America, with responsibilities including account management, business development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Account Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of PAW accounts across North America, ensuring retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnership development
- Business Development: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities that align with the PAW strategic growth plan
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, CD&D, Platform, and Customer Service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and coordinated go-to-market execution
- Performance Tracking: Monitor account performance, sales metrics, and pipeline progress to ensure achievement of revenue and business goals
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance value and strengthen relationships
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition/Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or similar degree in Business Management
- >2 years of B2B technical sales or account management experience in Pet Health / Nutrition, functional ingredients, or related industries
- Proven success in account development, contract negotiation, and revenue generation
- Strong understanding of microbiome-based ingredients and their application in pet nutrition
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and analytical tools (Power BI, Excel)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across a matrix organization
- Ability to travel up to 20–40%
