UniHomes is on a mission to transform the entire student rental experience across the UK, and they are seeking a Sales Executive to join their growing PBSA/BTR team. The role focuses on converting warm student enquiries into confirmed bookings while providing excellent customer service and support throughout the booking process.
Responsibilities
- Follow up promptly on warm student enquiries, building rapport quickly and moving conversations through to a confirmed booking
- Handle a high volume of calls, email, and WhatsApp conversations, staying organised and maintaining quality under pressure
- Become a trusted point of contact for students, providing accurate property information and supporting them through operator-specific booking procedures
- Work closely with PBSA operators and internal teams to ensure smooth handovers and accurate bookings
- Occasional visits to PBSA sites or operators may take place to deepen product knowledge and strengthen relationships
- Support occasional operational tasks where needed, for example helping to keep operator or listing information accurate and up to date
- Use Salesforce and agreed ways of working to manage leads, follow-ups, and booking progress consistently
- Spot issues early, escalate appropriately, and keep students informed so the booking journey stays smooth
- Support occasional reporting or admin requests when needed
Skills
- Proven experience in a telesales or inside sales role, ideally within property, student accommodation, PBSA/BTR, or a related sector
- Proven ability to manage high call volumes and convert leads into bookings
- Natural rapport builder with strong influencing and closing skills
- Resilient and confident in handling rejection and maintaining motivation
- Proficient in Salesforce and other CRM systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and collaborative team player
- Experience in the student accommodation market is highly desirable
