Passion for Life, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping under-resourced youth transform their passions into rewarding careers. They are seeking a highly organized and creative marketing professional to lead their growth marketing and digital presence, focusing on strategy, execution, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive demand generation strategy to grow nonprofit partnerships, secure corporate sponsorships, and drive individual donor engagement
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns to generate interest in Passion for Life’s mission and services
- Co-lead the Marketing & Communications team to develop and execute strategy and tactics
- Analyze marketing insights to inform strategic planning
- Compile report for management showing results (ROI)
- Work across departments to ensure proper messaging is executed online and is relevant to organizational goals
- Support and protect the brand by ensuring positive messaging is maintained in the on-line community
- Manage on-line discussions by listening to users, reading between the lines, and responding in a timely manner to users’ needs and requests
- Report trends and recommended actions
- Prepare reports to update internal staff on usage statistics
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field
- Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
- High energy, self-starter, highly motivated with high-degree of flexibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present ideas and information clearly
- Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
- Great time management skills with the ability to pay attention to detail
- Knowledge of non-profit marketing
- 7+ years experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial / start-up environment preferred, with a clear ability to both execute strategically and 'roll-up-your-sleeves' when needed
- Experience leading people is preferred
