The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced freelance attorneys and paralegals providing legal support for client law firms. They are seeking a qualified Texas Estate Planning Paralegal to manage estate planning matters and client communications, working approximately 10-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estate Planning Paralegal with direct experience in Texas estate planning matters
- Strong drafting skills, particularly with estate planning documents (wills, trusts, and related documents)
- Experience working with high-net-worth estate planning matters strongly preferred
- Ability to prepare and organize finalized estate plans for client signings
- Experience communicating with clients and gathering necessary information and documentation
- Ability to manage client inquiries and draft communications for attorney review
- Familiarity with real estate matters, including transferring property into trusts (e.g., homestead-related filings)
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work proactively and provide solutions with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Clio and experience with Westlaw Form Builder (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines efficiently
- Self-starter and able to work independently
