They are seeking an experienced Regional Vice President of Sales to lead a multi-state sales region, overseeing independent sales representatives and driving profitable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a regional network of independent sales representatives
- Drive regional sales growth, profitability, and market share
- Develop strategic sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and territory growth initiatives
- Coach, mentor, and train sales representatives to maximize performance
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new sales talent as needed
- Build relationships with school districts, administrators, and key educational stakeholders
- Support major customer presentations, negotiations, and high-value sales opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, and executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives
- Resolve escalated customer concerns while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional sales experience with progressive sales leadership responsibility
- Proven experience leading high-performing sales organizations
- Experience managing or supporting independent sales representative networks
- Strong background in strategic sales planning, coaching, forecasting, and territory management
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
- K-12 education, scholastic products, yearbooks, graduation products, school photography, uniforms, or related education markets
- Multi-state regional sales leadership
- Experience working with school districts, educational institutions, or independent sales organizations
- Strong track record of developing sales teams and exceeding revenue goals
