Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Backblaze is the object storage leader in the open cloud movement, and they are seeking a Contractor Recruiter to join their team. The role involves supporting full-cycle recruiting for open roles, managing the recruiting process, and building relationships with hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support full-cycle recruiting for open roles across Backblaze, both in the US and internationally
- Own the recruiting process end to end — from req kickoff through offer acceptance and hire
- Source, screen, and move candidates through the pipeline efficiently and with a strong candidate experience
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team needs
- Support recruiting across both technical and non-technical functions
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within a SaaS environment
- Proven ability to manage the full recruiting lifecycle independently, from kickoff to close
- Experience hiring for both technical roles (engineering, product, etc.) and non-technical roles (operations, go-to-market, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open reqs simultaneously
- Based in the United States
- Experience recruiting for international roles in addition to US-based positions
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with tools such as Greenhouse, Juicebox, or similar ATS/sourcing platforms
