About the Role
As a Remote Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of provider data management. You will be responsible for delivering professional activities in the Provider Data job family, with a focus on quality assurance, error reporting, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivers professional activities in the Provider Data job family, ensuring accurate and timely quality assurance for reimbursement based on provider contract and area fee schedules.
- Provides quality assurance error reporting to data entry specialists and supervisor, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Interprets update requests and coordinates with internal and external customers to clarify and complete, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.
- Applies standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge in specialist areas, such as RBRVS, ICD-10, and CPT.
- Provides standard professional advice and creates initial reports/analyses for review, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working knowledge in relevant areas, including flat fee, RBRVS, "percentage of" fee schedule reimbursement types, medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCFA.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, RBRVS, HCFA coding, and ICD-10.
- Experience working in a quality assurance role, with a focus on provider data management or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Additional education or certifications in a related field, such as healthcare administration or medical coding.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly in health insurance or provider data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
