In this role, you will be responsible for leading testing efforts for complex technology initiatives, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing strategy, planning, and execution for complex technology initiatives to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios based on business requirements and user stories
- Manage defect lifecycles by identifying, tracking, prioritizing, and partnering with teams to resolve issues before production
- Drive test automation efforts by identifying automation opportunities and supporting automated test script development and maintenance
- Partner with project teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners to coordinate testing activities, environments, and test data readiness
- Validate system integrations, third-party interfaces, and end-to-end business processes to ensure operational readiness and data integrity
- Communicate testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and results through standardized reporting and dashboards
- Champion continuous improvement by enhancing testing processes, supporting quality standards, and promoting best practices across the organization
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including test planning, execution, and coordination of testing activities
- 5+ years of experience applying software testing methodologies across complex technology initiatives
- 3+ years of experience working with automated testing frameworks and maintaining automated test scripts
- 3+ years of experience using programming or scripting languages such as C#, Java, or comparable .NET technologies, including Selenium
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple testing priorities while delivering high-quality results on schedule
- 3+ years of experience using Jira, Xray, Confluence, Visual Studio, or similar testing and development tools
- 3+ years of experience working within an enterprise Quality Assurance practice or Testing Center of Excellence
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with geographically dispersed or offshore testing teams
- 2+ years of experience with performance or load testing tools such as BlazeMeter or similar platforms
- 2+ years of experience testing technology solutions within financial services or another highly regulated industry
