The Scheduler / Project Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), ensuring project timelines are accurate and aligned with client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for all customer service requests (CSRs) under 500 hours
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for initiatives exceeding 500 hours
- Establish logical task relationships, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths within project schedules
- Ensure schedules align with project objectives, contractual requirements, and delivery commitments
- Coordinate schedule reviews with Project Managers, technical leads, business stakeholders, and leadership teams
- Facilitate discussions to reconcile scheduling conflicts and ensure schedule accuracy
- Prepare and submit project schedules for client review and approval
- Track schedule approvals and maintain approval documentation
- Respond to client schedule comments and feedback
- Work with project managers and delivery teams to address client concerns and incorporate approved changes
- Conduct weekly schedule review meetings with client stakeholders
- Present schedule performance metrics
- Prepare and distribute Schedule Summary Reports
- Track schedule-related action items through completion
- Ensure project tasks and activities are incorporated into approved schedules
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, project management, PMO, or program controls
- Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of schedule management principles, critical path methodology, and dependency management
- Experience working directly with clients and executive stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification
- Experience supporting government, healthcare, Medicaid, or regulated industry programs
- Knowledge of schedule health metrics and Earned Value Management concepts
