Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. A3D Manufacturing is a leading 3D Design & Manufacturing Solutions Provider specializing in 3D Printing technologies. They are seeking a Project Manager to manage digital manufacturing projects, serve as a liaison between customers and vendors, and ensure successful project execution across various manufacturing services.
Responsibilities
- Review customer technical requirements, including quality, process, and regulatory standards, ensuring all project requirements are clearly communicated to production teams and vendors
- Collaborate with vendors to understand manufacturing requirements and provide guidance on production solutions including 3D Printing, CNC Machining, Injection Molding, and related services
- Generate accurate project quotes while considering design for manufacturability principles
- Utilize internal systems and tools to communicate project updates, changes, and timelines with vendors and internal teams
- Manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products
- Identify potential manufacturing issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve them proactively
- Foster strong vendor relationships through effective communication and problem-solving
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to develop manufacturing process plans
- Collaborate with Account Managers and vendors to secure additive and traditional manufacturing opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization efforts
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Continuously learn and adapt to emerging manufacturing technologies and industry trends

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
- Hands-on manufacturing experience in 3D Printing, CNC Machining, or related manufacturing processes
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment
