- Utilize continuous discovery habits to deeply understand the friction points of internal developers and end-users, ensuring the platform evolves based on qualitative insights and quantitative data
- Treat internal capabilities as tier-1 products
- Define and rigorously track key product metrics (adoption rates, time-to-integration) alongside engineering metrics (SLIs, SLOs, latency, error budgets) to drive data-informed prioritization
- Lead the execution of the Fundamental Customer Capabilities program, empowering your cross-functional team to solve hard problems rather than just building predetermined features
- Drive the roadmap for robust IAM systems governing authentication, fine-grained authorization (RBAC, ABAC, PBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), identity federation, and comprehensive user lifecycle management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver)
- Evolve the omni-channel Customer Notification Platform (Email, SMS, Push, In-App), focusing on routing logic, template management, user preference centers, and high-throughput reliability
- Oversee the systems enabling secure document storage, generation, and retrieval, ensuring alignment with data residency rules, RBAC-level access, and enterprise retention policies
- Translate complex technical constraints, security frameworks, and business strategies into detailed user stories and technical specifications for core microservices, API gateways, and token management systems
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of internal analytics tools
- Proactively gather insights via ad hoc queries to analyze project results, drive product recommendations, and set realistic, quantified goals that connect to meaningful business outcomes
- Leverage a solid understanding of our technical architecture to identify risks and dependencies early
- Be proficient in navigating distributed systems architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) to guide scalable feature design
- Hands-on proficiency with APIs and tools like Postman is required
- Proactively identify and align a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders behind your current projects and planned follow-on work
- Integrate their feedback, recommend the best path forward, and escalate strategically when necessary

- Deeply understand modern product management principles, with a proven track record of shifting teams from 'feature factories' to empowered, outcome-driven squads using lean startup and continuous discovery methodologies
- Possess a Platform Product Mindset, with the proven ability to abstract complex system logic into reusable, scalable APIs and microservices

- Have deep familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, PIPEDA) and security/compliance frameworks (SOC2) related to identity and document storage
- Have experience transitioning legacy monolithic applications into decoupled, domain-driven microservices
