Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Processing Operator, you will be entrusted with a suite of duties that keep our production lines humming efficiently. Your daily activities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operate, maintain, and fine‑tune processing equipment: Initiate start‑up sequences, monitor performance metrics, and adjust settings to meet product specifications.
- Conduct operator‑level maintenance and troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, replace wear parts, and diagnose minor mechanical or electrical issues before they affect output.
- Uphold safety and housekeeping standards: Follow established safe‑work procedures, maintain clean work zones, and ensure all tools are stored correctly.
- Adhere to Food Safety and Quality Requirements (FSQR) and HACCP protocols: Document batch records, retain samples, and enter data accurately into our quality management system.
- Operate powered hand jacks and other portable instrumentation technologies (PITs): Safely maneuver heavy equipment and components while following lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) guidelines.
- Collaborate across departments: Provide support to maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams as needed, fostering a seamless flow of information.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives: Offer insights during Kaizen events, suggest process enhancements, and help drive efficiency gains.

Essential Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the core competencies and eligibility required to succeed in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment:
- Legal work authorization in the United States (no visa sponsorship required).
- Age 18 or older with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lb, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights of four feet or more.
- Strong English communication skills – both verbal and written – to accurately document processes and interact with team members.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry, electronic log‑books, and navigating our production software.
- Adaptability to varied indoor and outdoor conditions, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for heat, cold, dust, noise, and other environmental factors.
- Reliability and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with prior notice, ensuring the plant meets delivery commitments.
Preferred Qualifications & Desirable Experience
While not mandatory, the following experiences and credentials will give you a competitive edge:
- Hands‑on experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking equipment performance and maintenance history.
- High School Diploma, GED, or at least two years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, food processing, or a similar industrial setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and Word for creating reports and documentation.
- Forklift certification and operational experience, enabling you to move pallets and raw material safely.
- Knowledge of food safety standards such as GMP, SSOP, or ISO 22000 – an added advantage.
