The PL Product Development Manager will be responsible for developing new product features, enhancing existing products, and maintaining product strategy at a national level.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for design, implementation, and monitoring of assigned product features
- Develops short term and long term plans for assigned products and product features
- Directs development of product pricing and contract changes
- Completes performance analysis and shares results with leadership
- Participates in development of national product initiatives
- Represents enterprise Product team on state, regional and national projects
- Stays abreast of industry developments
- Negotiates and sets priorities to align product goals with the enterprise Product goals
- Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results
- Responsible for providing requirements to IT for system changes
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Seven years experience in similar role required
- Personal or Commercial insurance
- Analytical experience
- Product Management or Product Development
- Experience or knowledge of personal lines property pricing mechanisms
- Bachelor's degree preferred in mathematical or statistical field
- Master's degree preferred
