Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RLink Solutions is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III with deep expertise in PeopleSoft Financials and Texas CAPPS. The role involves supporting enterprise financial reporting, system enhancements, and compliance with state policies, while collaborating with Texas state government agencies to develop complex financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, and support complex financial reports within PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2
- Design and maintain cross-module reporting across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing (PO), Asset Management (AM), Inventory (IN), Travel & Expense (T&E), Project Costing (PC) , and related modules
- Develop and support SAP BusinessObjects reports for the Texas CAPPS environment
- Analyze PeopleSoft data structures, effective-dated records, table relationships, and multi-row logic to meet statewide reporting requirements
- Support reporting activities during PeopleSoft upgrades, PUM implementations, patches, and system enhancements
- Design, execute, and document User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing
- Ensure reports and documentation comply with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
- Support data integration, data quality initiatives, and SDLC best practices
- Interpret contractual requirements and collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with project deliverables
- Provide production and functional support for CAPPS Central and expansion activities supporting multiple Texas agencies
- Apply ITIL principles to support IT service management and operational excellence
Skills
- 8+ years of experience supporting Texas state government agencies
- 8+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 reporting
- Strong knowledge of State of Texas financial policies and procedures
- Extensive experience with PeopleSoft FSCM data models, table relationships, and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)
- Experience creating SAP BusinessObjects reports in the CAPPS environment
- Experience supporting cross-functional reporting across multiple PeopleSoft Financial modules
- Experience with data integration, data quality, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Experience designing and executing UAT and regression testing
- Experience producing WCAG 2.1-compliant documentation and reporting materials
- Experience interpreting vendor contracts and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations
- 3+ years supporting CAPPS Central production and expansion activities for large multi-agency environments
- Working knowledge of ITIL, including IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- 4+ years of experience participating in CAPPS Fiscal Year-End activities related to organizational changes and legislative mandates
- 4+ years of customer-facing experience supporting CAPPS Central and Hub agency expansion initiatives
- CPA or equivalent experience supporting CAPPS financial operations is a plus
