Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Buxton Consulting is expanding its NetSuite practice following a significant deployment for a major client. The NetSuite Functional Consultant will lead requirement gathering, manage implementations, and support ongoing services while leveraging the latest AI-driven features.
Responsibilities
- Lead business requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into configurations or customizations
- For new module rollouts, conduct fit-gap analysis to guide clients toward standard features where possible, while clearly articulating the ROI and maintenance trade-offs of custom development
- Own the lifecycle after the client’s functional grooming of a ticket, from solution design, acceptance criteria, to final deployment
- Develop, test, and deploy customizations using Suite Script (1.0 & 2.x), Suite Talk, and Suite Flow to extend NetSuite functionality beyond out of the box capabilities
- Advise clients on the NetSuite AI roadmap, helping them leverage Suite Sense and other AI-driven features to automate financial and operational workflows
- Support integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, Billing platforms, etc.)
