Mind Matters Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct one-on-one telehealth sessions to provide counseling and therapeutic support focused on individual needs.
• Address sub-clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination, and work-life balance, empowering clients to navigate these challenges.
• Assist clients in identifying and articulating personal and career goals, fostering healthy relationships, and enhancing overall well-being.
• Collaborate with internal clinical team members to refine program offerings and enhance the telehealth platform based on client feedback and outcomes.
• Document client interactions and treatment plans using electronic medical records systems, ensuring adherence to best practices in healthcare documentation.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will significantly impact a diverse group of clients ranging from young adults to working professionals, who may be experiencing various emotional challenges. By offering empathetic support and professional guidance, you will help them navigate their circumstances and work towards their goal of achieving emotional well-being.
Qualifications
• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Must hold an active and valid license/certification in your respective state or jurisdiction, such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience working directly with individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster rapport quickly with clients in a virtual setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is preferred but not a prerequisite.
Preferred Experience
• Experience conducting telehealth sessions and familiarity with virtual communication tools such as Zoom or Skype.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to a remote counseling environment.
• Ability to engage with technology efficiently to enhance the client experience during virtual sessions.
Compensation and Benefits
