They are seeking a Legal Operations Associate to support the Operations Manager in enhancing the efficiency and scalability of their Legal Services through managing client transitions and case intake.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive team member experience
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal/communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives and the community at large
- Develops and maintains strong relationships throughout the organization
- Responds to client inquiries timely
- Works with the President, RLS to develop, deploy, maintain, and/or assess best practices, policies, KPIs, and other strategic initiatives
- Anticipates needs of team members
- Works with projects and cross-functional teams across the Firm to execute RLS initiatives to drive results and value to customers
- Anticipates and navigates obstacles to generate results
- Understanding of business needs to help executive leadership define operational strategies
- Synthesizes data from different sources to streamline key business processes and drive performance improvements
- Designs and creates ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Serves on internal Firm committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Five years of experience in the professional services industry
- Advanced skills in Microsoft® Smartsheet, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
- Ability to work with large quantities of electronic data and data fields
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective presentation skills
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Sense of urgency and able to work self sufficiently
- Demonstrates willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Strong project management skills
- MBA preferred
- Experience at Ryan is preferred, but not required
- Legal assistant experience and relevant experience supporting a larger legal firm preferred
