Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an IT Administrator / Application Support professional on behalf of our client. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining a mission-critical enterprise investment accounting application, ensuring system stability, resolving production issues, and collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver reliable application performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 application support for production incidents and user requests
- Monitor application performance, system health, and scheduled batch processes
- Perform root cause analysis and implement timely issue resolution
- Support investment accounting processes by validating holdings, transactions, and valuations
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial processing activities
- Support inbound and outbound system integrations and troubleshoot data interface issues
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation and data quality discrepancies
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to ensure data accuracy and system reliability
- Coordinate with third-party vendors on issue resolution, releases, and application enhancements
- Support application upgrades, testing, deployments, and change management activities
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support documentation
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance, audit, and operational standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in application support, production support, or IT administration
- Experience supporting enterprise business or financial applications
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills
- Experience supporting system integrations and data interfaces
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production support environment
- Experience supporting investment accounting or financial services applications
- Knowledge of investment accounting concepts, portfolio management, or financial operations
- Experience with SQL, data validation, and reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with ERP/EPM integrations and enterprise data management
- Experience with ITIL processes, change management, and release management
